DESCRIPTION

Ergonomic plastic base is designed with a central channel for placement of a moist hot pack. The plastic base slopes downward on each side, such that head rotation is assisted by gravity. The patients neck is placed on top of the hot packs on the base. Once the muscles are warmed, the head is actively rotated to each side until the head blockers are contacted. Over a period of weeks, the head blockers are slowly adjusted laterally as the cervical range of motion improves. At the base of each adjustable head blocker is a scale, allowing one to monitor the improvement in cervical range of motion.
